Jumpin' January

Welcome back business of life, routine, and cold, cold weather. This year the highlights of January include:

- Spending New Years with the Bengali church in Queens, New York
- Hanging out in New York City with some fantastic friends for about a week
- Back to work for Daniel
- Back to School for Andrea
- A lovely visit from Tonya and Courtney

We'll lay them all out for you.

Bengali Church/New York City
We had the choice to go and spend New Years in Times Square or go to a church service with the Bengali church. Times Square sounded fun but people were out at noon before the ball dropped and you were barricaded in about a 50 foot square and they had some rather 'fun' rules. No drinks, no food, no backpacks. Yikes. So we opted for spending time with the church and it was AMAZING! My friends dressed me up like a beautiful Indian (thanks ladies!) so I felt right at home. We did so many things in New York that it's really hard to out them all down so here are some of our favorite photo highlights from THE trip of the year!

There's our first look at NY City!

Daniel in Pennsylvania on our way up to NYC!

Yummy NY hot dogs. Daniel insisted we have one the first day we were there!

Me in the snow.

My fav spot in NY - The Museum of Natural History. We needed like 3 days to really explore this place. Always another good reason to go back. :0)

Goofy.

Empire State Building!!!

They decorated the place so sweetly.

Pretty....blue....snow....

Rockefellar Center at night the night before New Years!

Me and Daniel looking very Indian. Does that make me double Indian?

Me and Poppy hanging out. Do I look a little light?

Singing during the Bengali service.

Daniel in front of the apple store.

This IS New York Pizza!

I got to see my best friend Shelley from High School. Sooooo great to see her.

Daniel in a basement record store. He thought it was pretty sweet!

I think that about takes care of pictures from January. I'm really happy about getting back into the swing of things. February should be a fantastic month too and I hope we get to see some of our family and friends at our house!

And THAT'S just how we see it..... it's a phillipsology.
