Fabulous February!

Ahhhh the love month! Here are some highlights from the month that is all about l-o-v-e:

- Valentineish weekend at Callaway Gardens in Georgia

- A Weekend at Ft. Payne
- A Little Experiment

Callaway Gardens, GA

D and I had a wonderful time taking the weekend off from side work and well, everything to get away and just enjoy one another. This was SUCH a great time. I'm often reminded how much I treasure D and who God has made him. He is just amazing. I'm so blessed to be given a husband who actually enjoys talking to me (often) and who has a character I can both thrust and respect. I won't share all we did (wink, wink) but we played a little blindfold 'guess again' candy game. And of course he did really well (he's such a competitor!). And we walked all around Callaway Gardens (thanks for the suggested place Amy!) and had an all around fantastic time. I gave D a one hour (timed, mind you) massage so my hope was he would let all the stress of this season in our lives just go away, even if just for a night. I think I got what I was aiming for. D and I swap who plans the V-day extravoganza each year so it was fun to plan this one for him. We know when the chill-rens come we won't be able to take these little trips so we fully intend on enjoying them now. Our trips up to this point have been Helen, Georgia (a little German style town in the mountains) and The Victoria Inn in Oxford, Alabama. We have not had to go into debt to have these fun little outings because thanks to Dave Ramsey, who we totally respect, we don't buy things we don't have the money for. I know, I know....genius!

Ft. Payne
We had a lovely weekend in Ft. Payne with a ministry we have had the pleasure to work with and are very involved with, Four Corners Ministries. Their goal is to build a comprehensive children's village in Uganda. It's a wonderful ministry if you have never heard of them.

Experiment
The rest of the month has been very busy with D and I working on various side projects and the only other very fun development in this Phillips Family is a little experiment. I know it is entirely crazy (perhaps) but I am *attempting* to cook Whole Foods on $25 a week. That's a whopping $100 a month on groceries. I don't know if I'll be able to do it but the next post will outline why, what, how, and anything else I can think of.

That's all there is for this month.

And THAT'S just how we see it..... it's a phillipsology.
